Kate has spent twenty years making government work for all the people it serves. As a lawyer, policy-maker, and Chief Operating Officer at three federal agencies, she has proven success at:
- Evaluating all the information and perspectives to make sound future-focused decisions for the community
- Balancing budgets, judiciously allocating funds, ensuring delivery of core public services, and executing long-term strategy
- Developing and enforcing government programs and policies that are fair, equitable, compliant and impactful
- Ensuring information is clear, digestible, and accessible, and that all people’s contributions are heard and incorporated
